A depiction of Casa Estudio, the residence and studios of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera in Mexico City’s San Angel neighborhood. The artist couple resided and worked there after it was designed and built in 1931. They are no longer living, but the two hearts live on in the property that reflects their innovative spirits.

This painting was part of my 2025 solo exhibition “Signs of Life” at Nahcotta in Portsmouth, NH.
