Two female figures hang around a long pool in the burnt afternoon sun- my sister and I; in a saltwater pool, perhaps? I was inspired by both the Sages pool at Ojo Santa Fe, and an indoor/outdoor pool in a home I stayed at in southern California. Both designs really utilize the beauty of the surroundings to enhance the aesthetics of the bathing space.

This painting was part of my 2025 solo exhibition “Signs of Life” at Nahcotta in Portsmouth, NH.
